About New Broadcast Media LLC New
Broadcast Media (KNBM) is the primary producer, in partnership with
Zinna Worldwide Media, of the local Denver television show "Tough Love"
on KBDI Channel 12 spotlighting
local political leaders and their reactions to national current events.
KNBM's oversight of the "Tough Love" program includes:
Rita is the principle owner of New Broadcast Media, founded in late 2007 to provide professional media production in the Denver market. Rita holds a degree in Film Studies from the University of Colorado and has received numerous awards for her works. She began her professional career as Marketing Director and later remarkable Producer for "Colorado Exposed" on 630 KHOW radio in 2005. She was also responsible for pre-production and the corporate identity of "The Pro Bono Show" and "The Italian Show" (both on 630 KHOW). Rita has an extensive media portfolio working for clients including the Consular Corps of Colorado, Diamant Denver Shoes, Colorado Office Services, The Cinema Lab, and others. From 2006 to 2007 Rita focused her personal and professional efforts in the local political arena, running two successful initiative petitions and running for mayor of the City of Lakewood (defeated by around 900 votes), while also working for Outward Bound in Golden, Colorado. In 2008, Rita joined Mike Zinna in putting together (quite literally!) the Zinna Worldwide Media studios and creating the "Tough Love" television show. Please go to the BACKSTAGE page of Zinna.com for more information... About Mike Zinna Mike Zinna is a former 630AM Political Radio Talk Show host with a non-biased interview style and an energetic, comedic personality. Some of Mike's radio guests, by his Producer Rita Bertolli, include Speaker of the House Andrew Romanoff, TABOR author Douglass Bruce, Former Republican State Chair Bob Martinez, Gubernatorial Candidates Bob Beauprez and Mark Holtzman, Democratic Leader Ken Gordon, Libertarian State Chair Travis Nicks, and many others. Mike has a wide breadth of political knowledge and is well-known for his ability to bring out the best in our guests, allowing their personalities to shine. To stay true to his radio roots, the studio set is designed as an acoustically sound-proofed radio studio, and as he describes it, "it's a TV show about a radio show." Please go to the VIDEO page of Zinna.com for more information... About the "Tough Love" Production We film a weekly hour long program of which 30 minutes is broadcast on Channel 12 after postproduction. The second half hour is available VOD (Video On Demand) on the Channel 12 website, on YouTube, and on our media sites. The show is made possible by a grant from the Zircon Corporation, the largest supplier of electronic construction hand tools in the world (www.zircon.com). Zircon sponsors a trivia question during each episode and donates a box of handtools to the charity of choice if any of our guests answer the question correctly. A typical episode will present a guest from each of the two major parties (Democratic and Republican) with a weekly rotating third-party guest. Our guests watch clips of current events on a studio monitor and provide their takes on the day's hot topics, in a classic McLaughlin style. The program is designed to highlight the personality, passion, and reactions of our guests rather than any expert opinion or debate on a topic. "Tough Love" inspires viewers through entertainment, humor, and personality, to become more interested in what might otherswise be "boring" or cynical politics. |

the scheduled filming time. Please park in the lots or side
streets adjacent to the Five Points Media Center (address below).
Our building is secure, and you will need to call 720-933-1840 so that
